Also, what's that behind you? Oh, it's just someone drinking a bottle of sparkling water. Oh wait it's a skeleton! [sound of creaking door]
— Scream Fortress

Mann Manor is a Halloween-themed map. It was introduced in the October 27, 2010 Halloween Event and features the first Template:W in the game; the Horseless Headless Horsemann. It and Mountain Lab were the winners of TF2Maps.net's Art Pass Contest.

The pumpkin bombs from the 2009 Halloween event make a return, as do the Halloween pumpkins. During the round a gift will appear randomly on the map, and whichever player collects it first will receive a random class-based paper mask. The gift appears similar to the Secret Saxton and the Carefully Wrapped Gift.

The Horseless Headless Horsemann will spawn at whichever Capture Point is active, and will chase and attack one player who has been randomly determined to be "It". Players who are "It" can be identified by a skull and crossbones icon which appears above their head. Another player becomes "It" when the former player is killed or when the player who is "It" distances themselves sufficiently from the Horseless Headless Horsemann. The player who is "It" can tag another player with a melee attack in order to make that player becomes "It".

In the RED spawn, one can actually see Redmond Mann sitting in his chair turned away from the player in an adjacent, inaccessible room. The map also has several paintings, including a similar portrait to the one Blutarch keeps in his room, only with Redmond being good-looking and Blutarch looking like a ragged crook. The other paintings are landscapes of the various properties owned by the Mann family and a hidden portrait of Emily.

Trivia

  • Mann Manor and Mountain Lab have the same layout as they are both winners of the Art Pass Contest. Mann Manor is considered the Halloween version of Mountain Lab, similar to how Harvest has an event version.
  • Ghostly voices that spout phrases can be heard throughout the map. The most common one is "Natascha", but there is also a man laughing manically, a women laughing playfully, and voices telling you to "Stop touching stuff"
  • Using the noclip cheat to fly through the glass door behind red spawn will show that only the arm and cranium of Redmond are present.
  • If noclip is used to move outside of the map, a small clearing with a farm can be found. The clearing has a striking resemblance of the Painting of Granary in the manor itself. This is however, merely coincidental.
  • If noclip is used again to go past the door to the right of Point A, you can find a painting of the Emily leaning against the wall.
  • Redmond's crest, which is embroidered on the tablecloths in the manor, is adorned with the words "UBER", "KRITZ" and "VICTORY".
  • There are nine rubber duckies hidden throughout the map. While previous statements claim this is homage to a gaming community Rexy belonged to, he has stated this was merely a fun easter egg, and was implemented instead by YM. There are also other hidden animals, a spider and a frog.
  • The numbers "67 18 19 3" are written on the wall of the building in front of BLU spawn point. 67.18.19.3:27015 is the IP address of the 2fort2furious server, which YM, one of the map's authors, is a member of.
  • There was originally a version of the mansion chair prop with an animated sequence to make the chair 'move' by itself several times over a 2 minute loop. This was cut from the shipped map, and appears only in the piano room of the contest entry version, artpass_ym.bsp.
