Also, what's that behind you? Oh, it's just someone drinking a bottle of sparkling water. Oh wait it's a skeleton! [sound of creaking door]

Mann Manor is a Halloween-themed map. It was introduced in the October 27, 2010 Halloween Event and features the first Template:W in the game; the Horseless Headless Horsemann. It and Mountain Lab were the winners of TF2Maps.net's Art Pass Contest.

The pumpkin bombs from the 2009 Halloween event make a return, as do the Halloween pumpkins. During the round a gift will appear randomly on the map, and whichever player collects it first will receive a class-based paper mask. The gift appears similar to the Secret Saxton and the Carefully Wrapped Gift.

The Horseless Headless Horsemann will spawn at whichever Capture Point is active, and will chase and attack one player who has been randomly determined to be "It". Players who are "It" can be identified by a skull and crossbones icon which appears above their head. Another player becomes "It" when the former player is killed or when the player who it "It" distances themselves sufficiently from the Horseless Headless Horsemann. The player who is "It" can tag another player with a melee attack in order to make that player become "It".

In the RED spawn, one can actually see Redmond Mann sitting in his chair turned away from the player in an adjacent, inaccessible room. The map also has several paintings, including a similar portrait to the one Blutarch keeps in his room, only with Redmond being good-looking and Blutarch looking like a ragged crook. The other paintings are landscapes of the various properties owned by the Mann family and a hidden portrait of Emily.

Trivia

  • Mann Manor and Mountain Lab have the same layout as they are both winners of the Art Pass Contest. Mann Manor is considered the Halloween version of Mountain Lab, similar to how Harvest has an event version.
  • There are rubber ducks hidden throughout the map.
  • There are ghostly voices throughout the map (male and female) that faintly tell you to "Stop touching stuff" or "Don't touch stuff". "Moustachio", "That's what she said", and "Natascha" are also infrequently whispered.
  • If noclip is used to move outside of the map, a small clearing with a farm can be found. The clearing has a striking resemblance of the Painting of Granary in the manor itself.
  • Despite not appearing on the Practice Mode map list, this map is completely compatible with TF2 Bots.
  • This is because the Horseless Headless Horseman, being a modified bot, needs a navigation map for Manor to hunt down players, the same navigation map that the normal bots use. So to have him work, the map comes with the navigation map premade.
  • However, bots do not count toward the "total player" count necessary to spawn the Horsemann nor the Haunted Halloween Presents.
  • They are not compatible with Mountain Lab, despite the two maps sharing similar layouts.
  • In one corner of a hallway, the floor is ripped up. When looking into the darkness below the floor boards, there will be a pair of eyes that will follow you. There are also several similar eyes under Point C.
