Item Test is a testing map released with the December 17, 2010 Patch. It appears as the BLU spawn room from Gorge with both exit doors sealed. It allows modellers to easily test their creations in a controlled environment, with the option to save and load multiple configuration setups quickly.
Users can equip up to 4 items on any class (with the restriction that only certain classes can use certain weapons) and spawn multiple bots with different behaviours.
Console Command
- Typing
testitemon console will bring up a menu for testing items. The menu appears to have controls to add custom models to the player, and the ability to add bots.
