曼恩之力(Mannpower)它最初是在曼恩公司圣诞节 2014更新中作为测试内容添加到曼恩公司地图测试程序中的游戏模式,随后在尖叫要塞 2015更新中正式发布。曼恩之力是夺旗模式的修改版本。

游戏玩法

在开始曼恩之力后,玩家会被提示装备动作道具钩爪。钩爪能够使玩家抓紧地面并能快速的在地图中移动。玩家会直线移动到钩爪所连接位置的表面,同时不能使用任何武器。间谍能在隐身或伪装时使用钩爪,并且钩爪绳子的颜色会变成他们所伪装的队伍的颜色。

玩家必须获取7次情报来完成地图的目标,而一般的夺旗模式只需要获取三次。为了获取敌方队伍的情报,你方队伍必须不能被窃取并且需要在其生成点里。不像一般的夺旗模式,如果掉落的情报再次被捡起,计时器则不会被重置,这使得防御情报变得更难。另外,如果情报携带者没有增益,那么他将会获得生命恢复。情报将会变得有毒并在被窃取90秒后给携带者打上死亡印记。如果两个队伍的情报都被窃取并且变得有毒,那么情报将会在下次掉落时被归还。

重生计时器会在其他玩家死亡后缩短到大约4秒。如果玩家通过其他玩家来自杀,重生计时器则会归零。此外,在重生后玩家会获得一段短暂的无敌时间

Bugs

  • The Knockout icon on the freeze-cam appearance gets cut off.
  • The backpack description for the Knockout Powerup is outdated, saying that it still gives critical hits.
  • It's not normally possible to carry buildings while having the Knockout Powerup; however, it's still possible to create new buildings by using the console command build (number) while having the Grappling Hook activated.
  • The damage noise from the Plague Powerup will continue to play if it is stopped by a Dead Ringer.
  • The critical effect on the grappling hook is always colored according to the player's actual team, and gives away a Spy's disguise.

Trivia

  • Many of Mannpower's mechanics, such as the Grappling Hook and powerups, were heavily inspired by the Threewave CTF mod for Quake.
  • The King powerup symbol actually resembles the standard chess queen icon.
