Canaveral is a community-created Control Point map added in the Summer 2024 Update. It takes place on a rocket launch site on Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA[1], with both teams fighting over control of the rocket.
Canaveral was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
Locations
- Spawn: The Spawn consists of a room with an exit to the right/left, an exit in the middle, and a ramp leading to an exit on the left/right.
- Final Point: The Final Point consists of a single large room with 3 levels. The bottom level has two exits, the one on the left/right leads to the Stairwell, while the other leads to the Warehouse and Second Point. The middle level contains the point, the Window Room, and the Spawn. The top level consists of a walkway to the Control Room which leads to the Stairwell.
- Stairwell & Window Room: The Stairwell consists of three flights of stairs, with the Control Room at the top. The Stairwell leads to the bottom level of the Final Point, the Window Room, and to the Warehouse. The Window Room overlooks the Final Point and has one of its windows removed and has a path leading to a Spawn exit.

Bugs
- When looking at the rocket from the first spawn, jumping high enough shows the rest of the map has not rendered.[2]

- In BLU spawn, a whiteboard with the phrase "rhamkin wuz here" written in the bottom right corner can be found. This refers to another map creator, Rhamkin.
