Los Muertos is a community-created King of the Hill map set in a Mexican (or Badlands) town late at night broadly decorated as if for Día de los Muertos (Spanish for "Day of the Dead").
The control point is at the center of the town plaza in front of the large Spanish Colonial cathedral. Around the map are many decorations resembling ofrendas, but without the traditional pictures of the departed. Calaveras and Aztec Marigolds adorn the map, and each Witching Hour magic spells spawn and a Path of Marigolds bridge opens to an altar that transports the players to the Land of the Dead. At the end of each round, skeletons join the living, rising from around the map (with the "skeleton king" spawning inside the cathedral) and attack anyone still alive before the match ends or round restarts.
Los Muertos was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
