The Maul is a promotional melee weapon for the Pyro. It is described as a "Red Faction inspired hammer".^[1]

Statistically, the Maul functions identically to the Homewrecker.

This weapon is awarded with Genuine quality to players who pre-purchase Red Faction: Armageddon before June 6, 2011.^[1]

Trivia

As with Homefront, Red Faction: Armageddon is not available for pre-order in the United Kingdom, making this item currently unobtainable in that region.
The description of the Maul references the Martian setting of the Red Faction series.
