The Maul is a promotional melee weapon for the Pyro. It is described as a "Red Faction inspired hammer".^[1]

Statistically, the Maul functions identically to the Homewrecker.

This weapon was awarded with Genuine quality to players who pre-purchased Red Faction: Armageddon by June 6, 2011.^[1]

Trivia

As with Homefront, Red Faction: Armageddon was not available for pre-order in the United Kingdom, making this item initially unobtainable in that region.
