The Machina is a promotional primary weapon for the Sniper. It is awarded to players in Genuine quality to those that pre-ordered Deus Ex: Human Revolution before August 22, 2011.
Unlike the default Sniper Rifle, the weapon cannot be fired without first zooming in. Once zoomed, fully-charged shots deal an extra 15% damage and can pierce through multiple enemy players. The weapon fires tracer rounds, making the shooter easier to locate.
