The Maul is a promotional melee weapon for the Pyro. The Maul will be awarded to players who pre-purchase Red Faction: Armageddon before June 6, 2011.^[1] The weapon has been described as being a "Red Faction inspired hammer".^[1]

The Maul shares functionality with the Homewrecker, although the damage penalty against players is worded differently.
