Contents
Locations
Checkpoint A
- BLU's First Spawn: This is the BLU team's first spawn point at the beginning of the round. It has 3 exits, one facing the small building, one facing the flank, and another in the middle where the cart is.
- Flank: A flank route to the left of BLU's spawn. On it is a small raised shack housing a small ammo pack.
- Small Building: The small building located in front of the first exit of BLU Spawn, containing health kits and ammo packs.
- Wood Chipper Path: The pathway to the left of the Payload track that passes by a large wood chipper and mounds of wood chips. The pathway has a lower and upper route, the former leading to the checkpoint and the latter leading to an upstairs flank .
- Bridge: A short bridge passing over the Payload track, connecting the two buildings on either side. It can be reached through stairways to the upper floors of said buildings.
Checkpoint B
- BLU's Second Spawn: The second spawn room for BLU that opens once Checkpoint A is captured. It has 2 exits, the main exit facing the wood chipper path, and the other on the side facing the flank route.
- Windows: A short hallway acting as a passage from Checkpoint A to the conveyor room, with open windows overlooking the area.
- Conveyor Room: A large room opposite of the Payload track, through which a large conveyor belt carries wood chips. A staircase leads up towards to side flank path past some silos, as well as towards RED team's first spawn.
- The Halfway Point: The halfway point to Checkpoint B. It curves around a building labeled "BAYOU SHIPPING", passing by the conveyor room and some surrounding wooden decks.
- Rumford Paper Co.: The inside of the Rumford Paper Co. building. It contains the RED team's first spawn room and two branching paths that lead further inside the building complex. It also has a outer deck overlooking Checkpoint B.
Checkpoint C
- BLU's Third Spawn: The third spawn room that BLU spawns in once Checkpoint B is captured. It has 2 exits side-by-side, the left leading out to the Payload track and the right leading to the inside to the factory.
- Entranceway: The entrance of the Rumford Paper Co. factory, accessible by a loading dock to the left, the main entrance in the center, and a short hall to the right.
- Turntable: Just beyond the entrance is a turntable that the cart must wait to turn in order to proceed, which also opens nearby gates for additional flanks on the left and right.
- Transformers: A small yard with a fenced-off electrical transformers. It is on the left path from the turntable and exits into a room full of rollers and wrapping paper, serving as access to the final checkpoint.
- Hidden Australium Pit: The inner workings of the factory hide a large pit of Australium that serves as the final terminus, Checkpoint C. Just behind it is the RED team's last spawn room. Surrounding the pit are walkways accessible from the front and underside via staircases.

Trivia
- Rumford is inspired by a paper mill located in the town of Rumford, Maine, USA. In keeping with the setting, Rumford includes signs in both French and English, reflecting the close proximity of Maine to the French-speaking part of Canada. Additionally, the map features an active rail line, the Rumford Rail Company, which is based on real-life rail companies from that area.[1]
- A secret room near Checkpoint A can be revealed by shooting four deer cutouts in the out-of-bounds areas of the map. Inside are deer cutouts holding various weapons and standing over a bloodied cow cutout, with a "Seasons Greetings" banner overhead.
- The numbers on the buildings represent the phone area code for Maine, which is 207.[1]
- Some of the "Employees of the Year" posters represent the map's contributors.[1]
