The Frying Pan is a promotional melee weapon available for both the Soldier and Demoman. It is a worn cast-iron skillet with a film of grease on the cooking surface and two spout-like openings on the sides.
The Frying Pan functions in exactly the same way as the standard Shovel and Bottle. Upon contact with a surface or player, it will play sound files from Left 4 Dead 2.
The Frying Pan and the Ellis' Cap are given to all owners of Left 4 Dead 2.

- Made the Frying Pan tradeable.
- Fixed the Frying Pan not being tradeable.
- It was possible to craft this weapon using the "Fabricate Class Weapons" blueprint before the ability to do so was disabled.
- Fixed melee attacks not destroying remote detonation pipes (Stickybombs).
Bugs
- Taunting with the Frying Pan while playing as the Demoman will humorously result in the Demoman attempting to drink out of the weapon. The Frying Pan will also clip through his leg.
