Enemies hit by the Short Circuit will emit white electrical sparks for a brief moment. Enemies killed by the Short Circuit suffer a distinctive death by vaporization: they turn black, hover in mid-air while performing a specific disintegration animation surrounded by team-colored particles, and then disappear into ashes.
Firing the Short Circuit results in a burst of electrical energy that does minor damage and destroys enemy projectiles at the expense of 35 metal. The weapon needs no reloading and cannot crit. The player doesn't necessarily have to aim at an enemy as the electrical energy connects to an enemy player whether the player has the crosshair on the target or not. This does not work from behind though. The Short Circuit is capable of hitting multiple targets at once, including allies (This does not hurt them though)
