Le Righteous Bison est une arme secondaire pour le Soldier. Il s'agit d'un pistolet à rayons de poche rétro-futuriste.

This weapon fires an unreflectable projectile that delivers reduced damage against buildings, but is capable of piercing multiple targets. It does not feature the traditional ammo reserve used by other weapons. Additionally, it can be used to light Huntsman arrows held by an enemy Sniper.

Enemies killed by the Righteous Bison suffer a unique death; they will turn black and hover in mid-air while team-colored fire particles surround them and disintegrate their body.

• According to the Grordbort's Crash comic, the weapon, along with the Cow Mangler 5000, was found by the RED Soldier in a rocket that crash landed.
• The gun's full name is "The Righteous Bison Indivisible Particle Smasher".
• A replica of the Righteous Bison can be purchased from WETA Workshop's shop.
• Attenders of Template:W 2011 were able to receive a free Righteous Bison by visiting them at the Weta booth.[1]
• The weapon shares similar properties to the Railgun from Team Fortress Classic.
