Enclosure es un mapa creado por la comunidad de carga explosiva compuesto por tres etapas, añadido en la actualización Jungle Inferno. El mapa muestra varias jaulas e instalaciones de la conseva Triásica de Charles Darling. Algunas de las mejores piezas del Sr. Darling incluyen dinosaurios como Pteranodones, Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, Velocirraptores, y Tyrannosaurus rex en entornos enriquecidos.

Una parte de los ingresos obtenidos de los contratos de Jungle Inferno van destinados a los creadores de este mapa

Spoilers: Este mapa contiene elementos y referencias de la saga de Jurassic Park (y unas pocas a la historia del Team Fortress 2) que algunos jugadores pueden querer descubrir por su cuenta. Algunas de estas características se muestran o describen en esta página.

Zonas

El equipo BLU deberá empujar la vagoneta a lo largo de 3 etapas, atravesando las instalaciones y atracciones principales de la Conserva Triásica. "¡Es como una atracción!"[1]

Jaula Aviar 03 (Primera Etapa)

  • Planta Hidroeléctrica – Base de BLU
  • Jaula de pteranodones/rampas
  • Foso (separa la ruta de flanqueo izquierda) (Pozo de la muerte/Aguas mortales)
  • Pasillo de Servicio (un importante flanco para ambos bandos: Para que RED pueda ponerse tras la vagoneta como para que BLU pueda colocarse tras la defensa en la Sala de Observación)
    • Puerta a las rampas (Permite flanqueos de la zona de rampas)
    • Puerta A (Flanqueo para llegar al punto de captura (A))
    • Jaula (Flanqueo del Área de observación)
    • Salida del ventilador (Se desbloquea al conquistar el punto A)
    • Escondite elevado (Puerta de un solo sentido hacia las escaleras ascendentes: permite flanqueos desde arriba hacia la Sala de Observación y el Área Restringida, pudiendo tener una vista superficial del campo de combate de la Mina de ámbar y una ruta para el Pasadizo)
  • Punto de captura A "Pajarera"
  • Puerta de la pajarera 04 (permite la salida de la pajarera)
  • Sala de Observación
  • Area Restringida (flanqueo entre la zona de observación y la mina de ámbar)
  • Mina de Ámbar (almacenes de la Hammond’s Amber Mining Co.)
Campo de batalla: Pasadizo (BLU) / Cabaña de almacenamiento (RED)

Verja 01, recinto de retención (Tercera Etapa)

  • Depósito de flores doradas – Base de BLU
  • Recinto de los Raptors (Muerte por velocirraptores)
  • Cabaña de Mantenimiento (nota: paredes surfeables)
  • Punto de control A "Jaula de los velocirraptores"
  • 1ª Verja Se abre al capturar el punto A, una vez superado, se cierra.
  • Sector 6
    • Atajo del spawn RED al Sector 6: Se cierra al capturar el punto de control A
    • Spawn BLU de avanzadilla en el sector 6: Se abre al capturar B
  • Punto de control B "Recinto del T-Rex" (cierra la verja 01) (Aplastamiento)

  • Cut down on size of OOB areas in aviary bit, and second half of the stage.

  • Removed bunker interior from play area.
  • Added sightline blocker to the upper exit from starting building.

  • Replaced borneo assets with E* Arkham's and Pear's foliage models.
  • Hopefully fixed displacement seams popping up here and there.

  • Added a few pickups in initial area.

  • Changed water in out of bounds area behind red spawn to 2fort_expensive
  • Fixed lighting on several props.

>Stage 3

  • Changed water behind blu spawnroom to 2fort_expensive
  • Added some detail to the interior of the bunker.
  • Replaced a displacement fallen tree in initial area with a fallen hollow tree model.

  • Optimized a number of assets (decreased polycount and added LOD's to some models).
  • Fixed issues with cart getting stuck on rolling back and causing mini* earthquakes when it went up or down a slope.
  • Removed EOTL round start tune.

  • Fixed RED not being able to leave their spawn.

  • Removed cage crane room route (it is now an out of bounds area).
  • Updated aviary model.
  • Added a new route to second point outdoor area.

  • Changed initial area to get rid of sniper sightlines into blu spawn exit.
  • Added stairs to the roof of the boathouse.

  • Several changes to final point area that will hopefully mitigate engie spam issue.

  • Removed rock spire from out of bounds area in stage 1, extended unclipped area out to the edge of the waterfall.
  • Added multiple areaportals and hint brushes in all stages to improve performance.
  • Replaced electric fence in stage 3 with a solid wall to split up areas and prevent whole stage from rendering at once.

  • Added a building covering rightmost BLU spawn exit from snipers on cliff path in stage 2.
  • Fixed a bunch of props being dynamic instead of static
  • Removed excess teamspawn points and some sprites to cut down on edicts.

  • Updated pl_enclosure_final to fix a displacement hole in stage two.

Bugs

  • Gate rendering bug in Deathcam spectate at final.
    "Why did you have to make it personal?"[6] Rarely, maybe only in Spectate after the Deathcam, the T-Rex gate can fail to render.
    • Certain objects on the map may fail to render as well.

Curiosidades

  • Sharing an issue that the Jurassic Park film has to a lesser extent, none of the dinosaurs displayed in Triassic Park are from the Triassic Period. All are Cretaceous dinosaurs, with only the Brachiosaur making a late appearance in the Jurassic.
  • Freeman Airboat Tours is a reference to Gordon Freeman, the protagonist from the from Half-Life series.
