The License to Maim is a currently unreleased promotional Miscellaneous item to be worn by all classes. It appears as the Freelance Police badge used by the characters Sam and Max.
The medal is awarded alongside the Lugermorph after a player has unlocked it during a special round of Poker Night at the Inventory.
Trivia
- While Max is generally considered number two of the Freelance Police, the badge has the number one on it.
- Although the License to Maim is supposed to be a Freelance Police badge worn by Sam and Max, neither character ever wears nor shows any kind of badge during their series of video games, but it does appear in the cartoon and comic series.
- The License to Maim is a play on the character James Bond's License to Kill.
