The Sir Hootsalot is a community-created cosmetic item item for the Sniper. It is an owl with glowing eyes that sits on the Sniper's left shoulder.
This item has two styles, named "Wilderness" and "Snowy". The "Wilderness" style colors the owl's feathers brown, while the "Snowy" style colors them white.
When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.
The Sir Hootsalot was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
