The Whiskered gentleman is a community-created miscellaneous item for the Pyro and was chosen by Valve to be released with the second wave of community-contributed content due to its outstanding quality. It appears as a monocle, fake mustache and goatee the Pyro has taped onto his mask.

Trivia

• The Whiskered gentleman was originally a hat on release. This was changed to a misc item the next day.
• This is one of the few cases the Pyro's masculinity is referred to in-game. Other references, such as domination taunts from the other classes and the presence of a purse in the Pyro's locker, have all been feminine.
