I make it look easy.
The Sniper bragging to his shoulder-mounted pal

The Steel Songbird is a promotional cosmetic item for the Sniper. It is based on the Songbird toy from the video game BioShock Infinite; a small toy bird made out of scraps and rags that sits on the Sniper's left shoulder.

When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.

This item was awarded in Genuine quality to players who pre-purchased BioShock Infinite on Steam before March 26th, 2013.
