The Void Monk Hair is a community-created promotional cosmetic item for the Scout. It is based on the hair, ears, and headband of the Void Monk from the video game Hero Academy; a uniformly-trimmed white hair held up by a team-colored headband, a small bun held by an elastic, white eyebrows, and long, pointy ears with somewhat reddened tips.
This item was awarded in Unique quality to players who purchased Hero Academy on Steam. Purchasing this item in the Mann Co. Store grants the buyer a Steam Gift copy of the Dark Elves Pack downloadable content for Hero Academy.
The Void Monk Hair was later contributed to the Steam Workshop, at Valve's request.
