Mecha-Medes is a community created cosmetic item for the Medic. It is a robotic version of Archimedes. It is a robotic dove complete with team-colored eyes and body, which wobbles with the player's movements. The blood splatters found on the normal RED version of Archimedes are replaced with oil stains for both teams.
When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.
Mecha-Medes was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

It also references the 1968 movie Planet of the Apes, where the Statue of Liberty is found by the main protagonist half-buried in the sand and decayed.
- The comic number listed is based on the mathematical constant of Pi, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. The Greek philosopher and mathematician Archimedes of Syracuse helped prove this constant.
- A Flight of Fancy is an idea or narrative that is extremely imaginative yet unrealistic.
