The Birdie Bonnet is a community-created cosmetic item for all classes. It is a team-colored Chullo that resembles a chicken. When worn by the Demoman, the left eye is loose from the hat.
This item can only be worn around Halloween or during a Full Moon; at other times of the year, it does not appear in gameplay, unless the server has Halloween mode enabled. However, it can be equipped at any time and can still be viewed on the loadout screen even when it is not visible during games.
The Birdie Bonnet was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Update history
October 29, 2013 Patch (Scream Fortress 2013)
- The Birdie Bonnet was added to the game.
Notes
- Using the Team Spirit paint on this item provides absolutely no visual difference in-game on either team. This happens because the exact same color values are used for both the paint and the default "unpainted" color for the item.
