What the hell was that crap?
The Scout as his GateBot Light self-destructed.

The Glitched Circuit Board is a cosmetic item for all classes. It is a damaged, dark green Printed Circuit Board, with six resistors, four capacitors, and a red inductor, connected with a yellow wire, visible on the board.

Like the Barely-Melted Capacitor, this item doesn't change the appearance of any classes when equipped.

Distribution

The November 21, 2013 Patch introduced a bug, where using the Fabricate Headgear, Fabricate Class Headwear, and Rebuild Headwear crafting recipes could sometimes reward a Robo GateBot Light. As the name suggests, it is intended to be used exclusively by gatebots on the Intermediate Big Apple Barricade, and the Advanced Empire Escalation and Metro Malice missions of the Mann vs. Machine map Mannhattan.

After the November 22, 2013 Patch, all Robo GateBot Lights that had been crafted were replaced with Glitched Circuit Boards.

Update history

November 22, 2013 Patch

  • Fixed a bug that would cause robot "gate hat" items to be craftable. Gate hats that were crafted while the bug was active have self-destructed and become limited-quantity Glitched Circuit Boards as a commemorative token.

September 17, 2014 Patch

  • Added the Limited attribute to the Glitched Circuit Board.

August 29, 2016 Patch

  • [Undocumented] Updated the item type strings for the Glitched Circuit Board.
