Trivia
- The Gatsby, also known as the Baker Boy or Lundberg Stetson, was very popular in Europe and North America in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is commonly associated with paper boys, and sometimes wealthy golfers. It is traditionally a men's cap, but it has become popular with affluent women and fashion houses in the 2000s.
- Though it's named gatsby, the hat bears stronger resemblance to an Ascot cap, even though the reference during development is, in fact, a German Gatsby.
- Some players humorously refer to this hat as the "Liver hat" or "Tumor hat", owing to its ambiguous shape and appearance in the loadout menu.
- The Gatsby is currently the rarest hat in the game (excluding the special edition hats awarded to the three winners of the Propaganda Contest), with less than 2 percent of sampled players possessing it, according to tf2stats.net.[1]
- The hat description was written by Esquilax. It also makes a reference to the hat's unusual, simplistic shape.
- This hat was made by Luigimario.
