The Angel of Death is a community-created miscellaneous item for the Medic. It turns the Medic's default labcoat into a team-colored Template:W with wide sleeves and team-colored inside, and adds a medallion with a picture of a dove, and a white, gold-trimmed Template:W worn on the Medic's shoulders.
The Angel of Death was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "Pope's Robes".
Update history
- The Angel of Death was added to the game.
Trivia
- The Template:W is the destroying angel in various religions, including Judaism and Christianity.
- "Angel of Death" was also the nickname of Template:W, the infamous German Template:W(SS) officer and a physician in the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz who supervised the selection of victims, determining who was to be killed and who was to temporarily become a forced laborer, and was known for performing bizarre and murderous human experiments on prisoners.
- The original name referenced the Template:W, the Bishop of Rome and the leader of the worldwide Catholic Church.
- Originally, this item and the Nunhood formed the "Angel of Death" Medic set (prior to the cosmetic's renaming); however, it was not marked as item set in-game.
- The creators intended to hide the Nunhood's shoulder part with the pellegrina of the Angel of Death in order to make both of them look like a single item.
