The Grizzled Veteran is a Miscellaneous medal awarded by Valve to the Team Fortress 2 community as part of their 119th Update Celebration. It appears as a gold, rectangular medal worn on the class's chest, not unlike the Gentle Manne's Service Medal. The Grizzled Veteran medal is awarded to players who bought and played Team Fortress 2 within 3 months of its initial release. This is one of the rare items that change with its class.
