The Team Captain
1 - 100
Our lawyers say 'YES! YES!'

Less talk, more fart!
The Soldier on the essence of street fighting

The Team Captain is a community-created cosmetic item for the Soldier, Heavy, and Medic. It is a confusingly peaked cap with a winged insignia (can't fly!) and worn rim. The Team Captain bears(not the animal) a resemblance to the hat(win) worn by M. Bison (known as Vega in Japan) in Street Fighter.

The Burning Team Captain was bought for 500+ buds once, making it super inflated and hyping the hat in general.

The Team Captain differs in appearance based on the class equipping it; the Soldier's is the best looking with a gold insignia and longer visor, the Medic's has darker tones with a silver insignia, and the Heavy's is solely colored brown with a bronze-copper insignia. Ugly.

Update history

May 5, 2011 Patch (Replay Update)

  • The Team Captain was added to the game.

July 2, 2015 Patch (Gun Mettle Update)

  • The Team Captain became paintable for a brief moment.

Trivia

  • The description is a reference to a scene from the Street Fighter cartoon in which M. Bison marvels at Guile's defeat on a miniature television screen as he exclaims "YES! YES!".[1]
