The World Traveler's Hat is a headwear item for all classes and was released as a part of the Australian Christmas update. It appears as a Template:W adorned with the Team Fortress 2 logo. The item is unlocked when a player purchases at least one stamp from the Mann Co. Store. Each hat is ranked from Bronze to Unobtanium, and the rank is dependent upon how many stamps have been purchased by the player. Every 25 stamps purchased, per map, levels the hat up to the next rank.
When playing on a map the player has purchased a stamp for, the hat will display a particle effect. However, if the player also has Earbuds equipped, the Earbuds' particle effect will override the that of the Traveler's Hat.
