It appears as a worn-out tricorne hat topped with a cock-eyed octopus grasping a small treasure chest. Because of its lengthy name, it is most commonly abbreviated as HOUWAR on many community websites.
Users who completed the requisite number of objectives were required to visit the promotion page and click the "Unlock Hat" button in order to have the hat added to their backpack. If the user already had the Bounty Hat or Treasure Hat, it could be upgraded to the Hat of Undeniable Wealth And Respect when 28 objectives were acquired. Update history
December 17, 2010 Patch (Australian Christmas)
- The hat's model, previously appearing as a large yellow question mark to hide its appearance until towards the end of The Great Steam Treasure Hunt promotion, was updated to its current appearance.
Bugs
- The octopus is currently motionless, but Robin Walker has stated in an e-mail that an update will be released with its animations.[2]
