The Bombing Run is a community-created headwear item for the Scout. It is a leather Template:W with a team color-tinged crown, team-colored domes on each side and a thin leather chinstrap.

Trivia
- This hat was originally designed for the Soldier, and was known as the "Tanker's Helm".
- Prior to its official release, this hat was named "Pilot's Protector".
- While the hat's design resembles a 20th century aviator's cap, the Bombing Run's design is based on a contemporary Italian tanker helmet.
