The Whiskered Gentleman is a community-created Miscellaneous item for the Pyro and was chosen by Valve to be released with the second wave of community-contributed content due to its outstanding quality. It appears as a monocle, fake mustache and goatee that the Pyro has taped onto its mask.
Trivia
- The Whiskered Gentleman was originally a hat on release. This was changed to a Miscellaneous item the next day.
- This item is a rare case of an in-game reference to the Pyro's masculinity. Domination lines from other classes and the purse in the Pyro's locker all suggest femininity; however, there still exists the possibility that the item is an ironic add-on for a possibly feminine character.
