The Ebenezer is a community-created headwear item wearable by all classes. It is a dark, snow-covered Template:W hat with a team-colored band, similar to the one worn by the grumbly miser Template:W, the main character of Charles Dickens' Template:W.
The Ebenezer was originally known as the "Culturally Indifferent Hat of Winter Joy" when it was contributed to the Steam Workshop, but the name was changed by Valve before implementation into the game.
This hat could only be randomly obtained as a prize from the Great Gift Pile during the Steam Holiday Sale 2011, via crafting 7 Holiday Coal or for earning achievements for the event.
