The Glengarry Bonnet is an unlockable headwear item for the Demoman. It appears as a black Balmoral Bonnet with team-colored trim and pompon (also called a toorie or bobble), and a silver Team Fortress Logo medallion set in the front.
Trivia
- The bonnet was made part of the uniform of the Glengarry Fencibles when they were formed in 1794 by Alasdair Ranaldson MacDonell of Glengarr. The Glengarry later became a characteristic part of the uniform of the Scottish regiments of the British Army. It is normally worn as part of Scottish military or civilian dress.
- While this hat is named Glengarry Bonnet, it is in fact closer to the style of the Balmoral Bonnet. A Glengarry is a more boat-shaped hat that sits atop the crown of the head.
- The trend since the end of the war has been to wear the Glengarry level on the head (as the Demoman does).
- When the Mann-Conomy Update was released, the silver medallion was changed to be team-colored.
