The Rimmed Raincatcher is an unlockable headwear item for the Demoman. It has a similar shape to the Tippler's Tricorne, except the brims are larger, have a golden strip at their rim, and are team-colored on the outside. The hat was added in the October 6, 2010 Patch.

Trivia
- The hat was accidentally included in the Mann-Conomy Update in two ways: Firstly, its model files accidentally overwrote those of the Tippler's Tricorne, leading players to believe that they were simply 'updating the design', due to the clear similarity between the two hats. Secondly, it became possible to earn the hat by attempting a normal hat-crafting recipe, but in its incomplete state it could not be placed in the backpack, and therefore couldn't be used until it was properly implemented. Both bugs were acknowledged by Valve and the hat's creator, with the promise that with the following update, the Tippler's Tricorne would return to normal and the Rimmed Raincatcher would be implemented correctly.
- As of October 6, 2010 an update was released to resolve the issue of the Tippler's Tricorne being replaced by the Rimmed Raincatcher. The Tippler's Tricorne returned to its original colors and the Rimmed Raincatcher was implemented properly.
