The Batter's Helmet is an unlockable headwear item for the Scout. It appears as a team-coloured, fibreglass Template:W with a single ear-guard that fits over the Scout's regular hat. Despite the fact that batting helmets are worn to protect the batter from a ball to the head, the helmet does not prevent the stun effect if the player wearing it is hit by a baseball or offer any kind of additional protection.
