The Dead of Night is a community-created cosmetic item for the Spy. It turns the Spy's suit jacket into a winter overcoat that features shoulder patches, a row of five buttons and dark team-colored, cuffs, lapels and lining. It also replaces his default shirt and tie with a dark, striped turtleneck sweater. When painted, the cuffs, collar and lining changes to the respective color.
The Dead of Night was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "Sir Manteau Chandail".
