Trivia
- The Billycock also known as a Tom Bowler, Derby or Coke hat was originally designed for horseback riders. The tighter-fitting brim and relatively low crown made it harder to topple off its owner's head. Some people had complained of low tree branches knocking off their silk top hats, which were the preferred style of the gentry at the time.[1]
- The term "Backbiter" means a person who says nasty things about another person,[2] so the hat's name may refer to the Spy's tendency to badmouth opponents. It could also be referring to the fact that the Spy "bites" from behind.
