The HDMI Patch is a community-created cosmetic item for the Demoman. It is a robotized version of the Snapped Pupil which appears as a small glowing digital screen bearing an image of the Demoman's right eye reflected and worn on top of where his left eye should be.
The HDMI Patch was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "Scrapped Pupil".

- The item's name is a play on the term "eye patch".
- HDMI is an audio-video interface system designed in 2002 for transferring digital audio and video data to devices such as computer monitors and television screens.
- The HDMI Patch makes an appearance in an easter egg in the game The Stanley Parable. Typing "hideous" into the game's console will randomly load this page or the page for the Graybanns, Soldered Sensei, Soldier's Sparkplug, Steel Shako, Timeless Topper, Well-Rounded Rifleman, or Western Wear.
