The Blighted Beak is a community-created headwear item for the Medic. It appears as a bird-like mask that is styled directly after the primitive respirators historically worn by plague physicians.
Bugs
- When the Medic is killed, the Blighted Beak disappears completely.
Trivia
- Before it was officially added in the game it was released as a skin replacing the Physician's Procedure Mask by Pie_Tony and Communist Cake in the TF2 Mod Emporium at Facepunch forums.
- During the time of the bubonic plague, doctors wore masks similar to this to protect themselves from airborne diseases.
