The Decorated Veteran is a community-created cosmetic item for all classes. It is a bucket hat with a band.
This item has three styles, named "Elite", "Commando", and "Civilian". The "Elite" and "Commando" styles fashion the hat after different Decorated weapons from the Gun Mettle and Tough Break collections, while the "Civilian" style makes it plain and team-colored.
The weapons referenced by the "Elite" and "Commando" styles are respectively:
- The Killer Bee Scattergun and Night Terror Scattergun for the Scout.
- The Warhawk Rocket Launcher and Woodland Warrior Rocket Launcher for the Soldier.
- The Rainbow Flame Thrower and Bovine Blazemaker Flame Thrower for the Pyro.
- The Liquid Asset Stickybomb Launcher and Carpet Bomber Stickybomb Launcher for the Demoman.
- The War Room Minigun and Citizen Pain Minigun for the Heavy.
- The Black Dahlia Pistol and Rustic Ruiner Shotgun for the Engineer.
- The High Roller's Medi Gun and Spark of Life Medi Gun for the Medic.
- The Night Owl Sniper Rifle and Bogtrotter Sniper Rifle for the Sniper.
- The Psychedelic Slugger Revolver and Coffin Nail Revolver for the Spy.
The Decorated Veteran was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
