The Sniper

The Companion Cube Pin (also known as the Portal 2 Pin[1]) is a miscellaneous item for all classes. It depicts a team colored portal and a floating Weighted Companion Cube from the Valve game Template:W.

At the current time, the item isn't obtainable through Drops or Crafting. The current state of the badge contains jigglebones, which allows the cube within the badge to move around, a demonstration video is previewed below. The badge shares the same position as the other badges do. It can be worn by all of the nine classes within the game.

Trivia

  • A Vintage Companion Cube Pin was given to a play-tester of Portal 2 at PAX 2010, prior to the item's official release.[2] The item can be seen here.
  • Player Vulcnor, upon winning a charity auction for Child's Play, received a unique version of the Companion Cube Pin. [1]
