The Checkered Past is a community-created cosmetic item for the Medic. It gives the Medic a dark team-colored newsboy cap with a subtle tartan pattern, a scar beneath his right eye, and a cigarette in his mouth.

The Checkered Past was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
