The Proof of Purchase is a special headwear item for all classes. It appears as an olive green Template:W with slight battle damage and Team Fortress 2 logo of a slightly darker shade emblazoned on the side. A narrow belt with a gold buckle extends around the back, over the wearer's neck.
This hat is given to players who purchased Team Fortress 2 before the Über Update on June 23, 2011,[1] those who received a gift of the game,[2] and those who activated a retail copy of the game.
