The Finder's Fee is a cosmetic item for all classes. It is a team-colored baseball cap bearing a anti-bug emblem on the front and an insect wearing a smaller baseball cap on the top.
The Finder's Fee is awarded to those who report major economy-breaking bugs or remote-code-execution bugs, and provide detailed information and steps to reproduce.
Before the Finder's Fee was introduced, people were able to select a hat and an effect for any class they wanted through emails. This would only happen when someone found a economy-breaking glitch. People would look all over for economy breaking exploits just to be able to get a hat and effect they wanted.

Trivia
- "Gandhi" on description is a reference to Mahatma Gandhi, the preeminent leader of the Indian independence movement.
- A user selected the Wiki Cap as a hat and sunbeams as the effect after finding a game breaking exploit before the Finder's Fee. This never happened as the users of the TF Wiki did not want their hat used by a person who didn't use the wiki. Instead, the user was given a sunbeams Max's Head.
