The Blighted Beak is a headwear item for the Medic that was released with the Australian Christmas update.
Trivia
- The "Blighted Beak" is styled after primitive respirators historically worn by plague physicians.
- Before it was officialy added in the game it was released as a skin replacing the Physician's Procedure Mask by Pie_Tony ont the TF2 Mod Emporium at Facepunch forums.
- Even though the mask was worn by plague physicians to prevent infections, the Medic's mask is practically useless as it doesn't cover his entire face.
