The Rimmed Raincatcher is an unlockable headwear item for the Demoman. It has a similar shape to the Tippler's Tricorne, except the brims are larger, have a golden strip at their rim, and are team-colored on the outside. The hat was added in the October 6, 2010 Patch.

Trivia
- The original name for this hat was "Traditional Drinking Hat" before Valve renamed it.
- When the Polycount update came out, this hat was mistakenly labeled as the Tippler's Tricorne, causing the Tippler's Tricorne to have this hat's model. When the October 6th 2010 patch came out, the Rimmed Raincatcher was introduced as a separate hat and the Tricorne was changed back to its original form.
- Although this hat is commonly worn by Scottish folks during celebrations that involve drinking alcohol, it is also commonly known to build up and redirect rain water from the wearer's face. (As the name suggests)
- As of the moment(October 20th), the Rimmed Raincatcher is the rarest non-event hat ingame.
