Ellis' Cap is a promotional headwear item given to players who purchase Left 4 Dead 2, along with the Frying Pan. The hat features a tow truck design on it, it is a reference to the hat worn by Ellis, a character from Valve's zombie shooter franchise, Template:W. This is the second Left 4 Dead related hat in Team Fortress 2 that is available for all classes, the first being Bill's Hat. As with many other promotional items, this hat is not usable in crafting.

This hat was made paintable in an update released December 2, 2010.
