The Bootie Time is a community-created cosmetic item for the Scout. It is a set of green elf boots and wristbands with small jingle bells attached. When equipped, the Scout's footstep noise is changed to add a soft jingling sound.
This item has two styles, named "North Pole" and "South Pole". The South Pole style changes the leggings to be entirely team-colored, and the color of the boots to match the colors of the Scout's default shoes.
The Bootie Time was contributed via the Steam Workshop, with the name "Elf Shoes".
When wearing this item, the Scout's default running sound will be replaced with a Christmas bells sound, which is considered a hindrance by the cosmetic's description and players of the game, as the noise makes you less capable of sneaking up on people.
