- The item is added to the Mann Co. Store, made craftable, and included in random drops.

Bugs
- The item has clipping issues when used with the Familiar Fez and slightly with Backbiter's Billycock/Détective Noir.
Trivia
- The hat's name and appearance are a reference to Template:W, and more specifically to the mask worn by the eponymous character of Template:W.
- This item, along with the Blighted Beak [1] is one of the two Miscellaneous items that can be unusual, owing to the fact they both changed from hat to misc
