The Blighted Beak is a community-created miscellaneous item for the Medic and was released as a part of the Australian Christmas update. It appears as a bird-like mask that is styled directly after the primitive respirators historically worn by Template:W.

Notes
Blighted Beak has major collision issues with the following hats:[1]

A fix for the clipping of a majority of the hats has been sent to Valve who said that they will fix it come the new year.[citation needed]
Trivia
- The mask is a reference to European Medievil apothecaries who would wear this bird-like mask during plauges to signal other of their role and to keep them safe from any airbourne infections. Several different medicines and mixtures were kept in the beak in belief that it will protect it's wearer. One notable time that these masks were worn were the times of the Black Death [1].
